As our charity celebrates 50 years of providing independent advice in Elmbridge, we’ve launched a new appeal to raise £50,000 by the end of March 2024 to help us keep our vital service open and reach out to those most in need.
Right now we’re needed more than ever. We’re seeing first-hand the devastating impact that the cost of living crisis is having on our community. Record numbers of people are contacting us for crisis support such as food bank referrals and emergency charitable support as they struggle to make ends meet and cover essential bills. Many of those we see have multiple, complex issues. Our unique understanding of local needs and the support available means we are best-placed to help them find a way forward with their problems.
We’re working really hard to meet this demand for our expert help, but our budgets are stretched to the limit and we can’t do more without additional funding.
