National Minimum Wage increase

The National Minimum Wage was increased from the 1st of October.  The new rate for an adult increases to £5.52 per hour. Other rates also increase.

The accommodation offset rises to £4.30 per day. An exemption to the accommodation offset is introduced for some deductions by, or payments to, a local housing authourity or registered socail landord in respect of accommodation.
